Whilst at Chiang Dao during the last three weeks, a large amount of time was spent trying to photograph and identify some of the many butterflies present, especially around the checkpoint car park.
The number and variety of species present, changed daily, but blues always dominated with several thousand present mots days. There was always a good selection of other species and families including many members of the Papilionida family.
